    Default Battery Playing Favorites

I was finally able to get a replacement for my old sony 2gig mms, and was thrilled when my SanDisk 8gig came in the mail... until my PSP wouldn't turn on with it in. In fact, it wouldn't start without a mms, but only when the old 2gig was inserted. After some tedious experimentation that I don't want to go into detail with right now, I found that my battery is stuck as a pandora. The unit will turn on when running from AC power, and the recovery menu options are not working to restore the battery. I have a PSP-1k. Should I open my battery to check that all connections are working, or is there some other thing that I should try?

If your battery was hardmodded, which means you cut the pin, then you will need to open the battery back up and resoldered the pin back together. But if your battery was softmodded, then you can use either PSP Tool V1.00 or HellCat's Recovery Flasher to revert your battery back to normal. Good luck!

You could also inject the IPL into each memory stick that you will use. Rains MMS Maker can do that.

(Note: You might have to just recreate the entire MMS, I don't remember if you can just inject the IPL)

just erased and injected the first IPL from PSPtool, and it worked like a charm. Thank you very much for your help.
