    Default gpSP Problem

    Whenever I try to load gpSP on my PSP, it says
    "Error in Load/Start Homehook module". I think this means that it may have something to do with the "homehook.prx" file. I am running on PSP firmware 6.20 and my custom firmware is halfbyteloader. Also, I have other emulators that work fine, so the problem is only with the GBA Emulators as far as I can tell.

    Okay, I tried that one. I clicked on it and it sent me back to the main screen on my custom firmware.

    do you have the Gba BIOS file in the right place

    PSP 1.5 got on USA first day is was 1.5 NOW 4.01 M33-2 -> 5.00 M33-6(1.50 addon),
    Old PS3s: PS3 60GB FW:3.41(2nd ps3 YLoD, 1st, YLoD)
    New PS3:
    Slim 160gb 01-21-2011 Working
    was 3.40 OFW->3.60 OFW

    2nd PSP : PHAT 5.50 GEN-D2
    3rd PSP : Sliver 3000 Starting OFW:4.20 (NEW bought NEW on 11/28/2010)
    It a good idea to have "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)

    I just want to clear this up before you confuse someone. Half Byte Loader is not a custom firmware. It's just a homebrew loader. A custom firmware is when you actually replace Sony's official firmware with a modified version to allow you to have full access to the system. HBL doesn't do that at this time.

    It's still not working! I click on gpSP-HBL on the halfbyteloader home screen, I wait a little bit, see some japanese text, I hit a button, then I see BIOS(more japanese text) then I hit another button and it sends me back to halfbyteloader's main screen.
