ISO Loader and PSN Help.
Good evening gentlemen.
I have a few problems, i'm a new psp user on a psp 1000, today I updated to the latest cfw which allowed me to play PSN games, and not have to use the jap demo exploit anymore, simply open the Hen, wonderful, but I've been having problems since I updated.
The first thing that happened when I used Hen, was that the VSH Light Menu appeared, but I couldn't click anything, all my buttons were frozen, so I deleted the plugin folder, and I could go straight to the menu again.
I opened up the Protheus(sp?) ISO Loader like I used to for the demo exploit, but when I got on, the ISO Mode switched from the two available modes really fast automatically, and no buttons worked..
The Hen works though, I loaded the Final Fantasy 7 Psn game, and got in, and can play the game, but when I click home and scroll through the menu, the O and X button do not register, so I can't make the game widescreen, or switch disks for example, I could only click the home button again to exit back to the game.
Oh and one last thing...in Final Fantasy 7 the little help message for each command above the ATB bar won't stop flashing unless I hold down a button, and it's very annoying...is there anyway to disable it?
I know it's a lot, but any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

ps1 games aren't working yet to my knowledge under HEN. if you are playing legitimately downloaded ps1 games then bravo... if you are running a ps1 eboot of ff from a converted iso, you made it much further then a lot of us.
Everything you are describing sounds like a button problem. sounds like a button (or buttons) are stuck in the on or off position. If it doesn't do this in the normal OFW xmb then maybe HEN and the 1000 aren't quite agreeing on some things...
vsh light menu was stuck from the get, i know you deleted it, but your problem wasn't corrected by removing it, only delayed
the psp phat has MUCH better options then running HEN on it, i think you should investigate these routes. you will get a much more reliable, dependable, and tried and true experience.

Thank you for your reply, although I'm a bit new, and this is all overwhelming, so I don't know all the options available, but I'd rather not do something like buy a pandora battery, I just wish it to play all my iso psp games, and maybe psn games, which it did earlier, but I'm unsure of the best thing to use.
Well, new progress....a set a 1gb stick that my psp came with to its default settings, clicked on the nickname the psp part..it just...automatically scrolled around the letters without me selecting anything, I have no idea what's going on, but I guess whatever has happened has effected the actual psp.

This is EXACTLY what happened, and the buttons freezed up and kept scrolling through the 2 iso options on the iso loader, so I assume it might be dust in the psp? some very....selective dust, apparently. I was messing around changing files and memory sticks etc for nothing apparently, it should work fine, in theory.
I don't know if a stuck select button can do what is shown in the video, but it would certainty explain the shifting iso options in the loader, but not why I can't do anything in it,or press O and X.
