6.35 downgrading

I downloaded Davee's 6.31-6.35 6.20 downgrader and put it in the correct folder in:
ms0:psp/game
then I downloaded the 6.20 OFW update and put it in:
ms0:psp/game
on the instructions it said to place the update in:
ms0:psp/game/update
however such a folder does not exist on my psp. The update shows up as "corrupted data" and therefor I cannot downgrade my psp. Should I create a directory called "update in:
ms0:psp/game
or is there something else?
My psp is a psp 3000 with a firmware of 6.35. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, put the update EBOOT.PBP in "PSP/GAME/UPDATE"

Yes you will have to create a folder called 'UPDATE' and place the downgrader files there.
