PSP3001 with OFW 6.10 Need help on where to start
Hello i am new to modding the psp I have modded other gaming systems but have just started with the psp.
I am not sure where to start. I mainly wish to play psp and psx games and I already have tons of iso, cso, and psx eboot game files. I just need to know what the best way to going about that is.
I have seen HENs for 6.20, 6.31, and 6.35 and I am aware of iso loaders such as prometheus. So my question is should i update to ofw 6.20 and then use that hen or should i update all the way to 6.35 and use that hen.
Is prometheus the best iso loader out there or are there better choices? How do I go about loading the psx eboot files? I have seen many references to popsloader and popstation but can't seem to find the most recent editions of those? Can someone help me find them or a better alternative?
Thanks for your help

the 2 6.xx fw's with the hen for playing isos are 6.20(with 6.20tn-c but 6.20tn-d is due out very shortly if it's not been released already. http://www.qj.net/psp/news/total_noo...-incoming.html) and 6.35(with 6.35pro-b2 http://blog.coldbird.co.cc/), which you go for is all dependent on you. 6.31 has a hen from what I've read but 6.20 and 6.35 seem to be the 2 that are getting the spotlight.
dependent on what g modual your psp has you can upgrade/downgrade between 6.20 and 6.35 to try both out and see which you prefer, first you will need to upgrade to 6.20 and install 6.20tn-c http://forums.psp-hacks.com/f133/vid...-tn-c-t269707/
then follow http://forums.psp-hacks.com/f133/vid...3k-is-t270170/ to find out the which modual the psp has, if it's 3g or 4g you can safely upgrade/downgrade between 6.20 and 6.35 http://forums.psp-hacks.com/f133/vid...-mega-t270030/
there's hen/lcfw for 5.03 which is said to have better compatibility than the 6.xx hen/lcfw).
