Not really, TN-E doesn't write to the flash
So your all good.
Unless you choose to install the perm patch.

No, I just wanted to be able to play my PSX games on it. If I read the description correctly, it enables using (Popstation?) ISOs to be played. Is that correct?
Also, after downgrading back to 6.20, I just load the homebrew enabler from the game menu, right?

If am not mistaken, it has a PSX Emulator integrated
But not an ISO Loader, so you must use an alternative.
Either, aLoader or Prometheus ISO Loader.
Yes.

I'm using a 3000 series, so is there anything else? Or is that pretty much it?
-
depending on the g module of the psp you may not be able to downgrade to 6.20, if its 7g+ then you're stuck for the time being as the downgrader doesn't downgrade to 6.35.
have a look at http://forums.dashhacks.com/f133/dow...are-6-t296612/ use the signed modulechecker to check the g module.
btw why'd you upgrade to 6.39?

I upgraded because at the time I didn't know it was possible to hack the 3000 series, until I saw the PSN update requirement and was reminded of the modding scene.
