great idea but i dont know anything about making cfw so im looken up the tutorial

there is no tutorial to make cfw

its a complicated process that takes teams of experianced develeprs like dark alex

just forget your plans because no1 can make cfw better than D_A or m33 aka dark alex

i dont mean to offend you you NOOB but stop been so god damm noobish u nooby nooby noobs and stick to downloadin tings

if u want respect then make a decent game its 10x easyier

creating custom firmware isnt really all that hard.
you just have to know some things:

C and C++ (easy enough :lol:) (110% mandatory)
How to decrypt a firmware (1.50 and what ever other firmware)
How to rebuild a Firmware (here we go with the programming)
Debugging (nobody likes bugs)
Compiling The new firmware (easy enough with certain software. in fact, most C++ Dev's come with a compiler)

the only thing that takes a long time is decrypting the firmware and rebuilding it. after you have that down, you can debug it, recompile it and put it on your psp (praying that you dont brick)

oh and how could i forget, you have to know how to program for the psp (i believe it uses C more than C++ but thats just a guess)

meaning your going to be including files A LOT!
and if you dont even know how to do that, your screwed from the beginning.
(#include <blah blah blah>)

bottom line, you you have a couple hundred hours (really, a couple hundred) to give up, you can do it. (assuming that you know how to do all the things listed)

the noob thing was a little harsh JUST A LITTLE but yea why would you want to make your own anyway? its proly not even worth it in the long run.... i mean it could be kinda fun if it were olny easy haha

because if you can create your own custom firmware. you can creat your own custom features!

as i said before, i would love for the psp slim to have a cache settings in recovery mode but it wont get done unless someone like M33 or DAX does it. if you can create your own, i say go for it.

erm actually you can get win 95 on psp and even 98 or apple mac but i dont no about anything wich requires more powe
