    Ah but your forgetting that it doesnt actually normally run at 333mhz, so this DOES infact overclock it.

    It's hard to say. The PSP's CPU was originally designed for 333MHz, but Sony scrapped that (333MHz ate the battery too much) and made it into a "222MHz CPU".
    Technically it can be overclocking as it's performing above it's intended speed (222MHz), but at the same time, it's not as the CPU was originally meant to run at 333MHz.

    Still, a lot of devs call it overclocking, as it does clock above the default CPU speed.
