    It doesn't write anything to the button buffer , it uses hooks(and a few jumps OR imm ret from hook function if the address contains data that should be ignored) for functions : "Peek/Read Positive/Negative" which then must fill (or read from) a pad structure...

    I know what they do, I know how to hook functions and I hook those functions in NervOS. But that's what I've been saying from the beginning, the only solution I know is by hooking them to return the values you want.

    Err....yea , but you're just forgetting that i was replying to his last question :-).
    And you should have had mentioned earlier where you got the source code , since he was asking about resources...

    I don't remember where I got the source. I was replying to the post where you quoted me so you were not talking to him, I guess?

    I think RemaPSP hooks the read/peek negative/positive functions so you may want to look at its source code.
