    >
    Copy GEN-C to ms0:/PSP/GAME/

    Method :

    >Press the SELECT button to uninstall any CFW / GEN installed on ur Psp

What happens to your PSP if you have temp custom firmware on it and just just remove the battery? Doesn't that uninstall the CFW then?

No. That just makes it boot with OFW. The CFW will still be stored on flash 0.

However even if you do uninstall CFW from the PSP, Sony will still be able to tell that CFW was on there.

I thought it could only be loaded into the RAM and not into Flash0.

    How?

some part of the cfw is written to flash 0 and when u reboot to ofw mode and run the gen c updater ur merely launching it again and not installing cfw all over again.

and the part about sony i dont know..

Hey all, theres also a way to completely uninstall CFWEnabler CFW without using the GEN-C Updater. It works for all versions CFWEnabler (current version 3.70)

reboot PSP i.e. back into OFW 5.03
    chickHEN
important step - hold down the R shoulder button while loading CFWEnabler - this brings the black and red screen with the 'uninstall' option available. On my PSP if I don't hold the R shoulder button down then it directly loads the CFW.

This is just an alternative to the other methods described above. Sorry if this has been posted before.

    cheers, EP
