Default The Downgrade your PSP Without Pandora Mega Thread

    Introduction

    Last Updated 26/05/2011

This tutorial shows you how to downgrade any PSP with firmware without pandora. There are 2 methods, dependent on the system software version of your PSP.

If this guide has helped you, show some love

If your PSP is at 6.20 and you want to downgrade to 5.03 then follow method 1.

If yours is a PSP Go/300x with < 07g modules is at 6.31,6.35,6.38 or 6.39 then you can downgrade to 6.20 then follow method 2

If yours is a PSP Go/300x with >= 07g modules is at 6.31,6.35,6.38 or 6.39 then you can ONLY downgrade to 6.35 then follow method 2 (but download the 6.35 eboot)

How to check what modules you have in your PSP

    Method 1 : Downgrade using 6.20 TN-C

Your PSP must be at official firmware 6.20 before this procedure can start. Technically, you can downgrade to any firmware you wish. For the purpose of this demonstration, I will be downgrading a PSP 3000 from 6.20 to 5.03.

    WARNING !!!!
THIS SHOULD WORK ON ANY 1000, 2000 OR 3000 (3g). DOWNGRADING TO 5.03 WILL NOT WORK ON THE GO. I ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU BRICK YOUR PSP AS A RESULT OF FOLLOWING THIS PROCEDURE

Your system software must be at 6.31,6.35,6.38 or 6.39 . If you're at 6.37 or 6.36 then manually update to the next supported firmware.

This works on the following PSPs:

PSP Go (07g+ can only be downgraded to 6.35)
PSP 3000 (07g+ can only be downgraded to 6.35)
PSP 2000 all can downgrade to 6.20
PSP 2000 TA088V3 all can downgrade to 6.20
PSP 1000 all can downgrade to 6.20

    Step 1
Install Some1's 6.39 downgrader and downgrade

    Some1's 6.39 Downgrader

    Requirements

    - 6.39 Downgrader Pack
If you can only downgrade to 6.35 then you will need the 6.35 official firmware update instead PSP 6.35 for 100x,200x,300x | PSP 6.35 for Go

    Instructions

    Follow the video below

I'm still skeptical about downgrading on a 3k.

Exactly what I was thinking, two new members.

Someone has to try it first.

I could simply upgrade to 6.20 again
