Default How to use portals on your PSP

PSP portals are a set of webpages combined in a folder which act as one whole application (for example simulating another OS).
They do not require Internet connection and are absolutely safe so you can not harm your PSP.
They can be used on any PSP with firmware higher than 2.00.
Examples of PSP portals include iPhone, Windows, NDS etc.

They usually come in archives (zip, rar or 7z format).

Here are some pictures of the iPSP portal:
    Spoiler:

    1. After you have downloaded one, you need to extract it.

    2. You should get a folder. Open it and inside you will see several other folders and an index.html file.

    3. Copy the whole folder to the Memory Stick wherever you want. Portals are usually put on the root of the MS or at /PSP/COMMON.

    4. Exit USB Connection and go to the Internet Browser.

    5. Exit the Network Connection menu if it pops up.

    6. Press Triangle to open up the menu.

    7. Go to File -> Address Entry.

    8. Type in the following (depending on where you put the folder)
    - if it's on the root of your MS
    Code:
    file:/foldername/index.html
    - if it's in the COMMON folder
    Code:
    file:/PSP/COMMON/index.html

It might not work at first, so try changing .html to .htm (in case the index file has that extension).

    9. Some pages require you to accept running a plugin so just press Yes on that screen.

    10. In order to get the most of the portal you need to go to Tools -> Settings -> View Settings and set everything to On.

    11. You may also want to add it to your bookmarks so you can access it more easily.
Go to Bookmarks -> My Bookmarks and choose [Add to Bookmarks].

You can also view text files in your Internet Browser by doing the same but instead you will have to type this command
    - if it's in the root:
    Code:
    file:/filename.txt
    - if it's in a folder:
    Code:
    file:/foldername/filename.txt
