Here's a full guide on how to do it (extremely noob-friendly)

    2 things:

    1)pandora battery DOESN'T work on a psp 3000;

2)full cfw DON'T work on psp 3000 and will brick your psp, I'm typing this on my iPod touch and can't see the video to see if it's full cfw or hen/lcfw in the tutorial so can't say if it'll work on your psp.

with a psp 3000 you have the option of pro-b6(6.20, 6.35 and 6.39 versions available depending on what ofw you have), 6.39me-5(lcfw version NOT cfw version) or 6.20tn-e.

all depends on what current fw you have and the g module of the psp, if you have ofw 6.20 or lower than the best advice would be to go with 6.20pro-b6 with perma-patch(means you don't have to keep reloading the lcfw after the psp losses power).

    hello,
i would really appreciate your assistance on a psp.
    i have a psp3004 with version 6.37 installed.
i am not sure if there is a stable cfw version for my firmware in order to play iso's.
    is this true?
if not, could you please point to the instructions on how to proceed?
should i perhaps upgrade it first?

    thank you very much!

6.39 PRO B-6 is the latest cfw for your psp.

    Here are the steps:

    Upgrade to OFW 6.39.

    http://psp.dashhacks.com/file/2095

    Extract it
    Copy the EBOOT.PBP to PSP/GAME/UPDATE/
Run the update from Game - Memory stick

    Next download 6.39 PRO B-6

    Extract the file

Copy PROUPDATE and FastRecovery to PSP/GAME/

And run the PROUPDATE from game - memory stick

You can delete the EBOOT.PBP from PSP/GAME/UPDATE/.

Dont delete the other files...Since 6.39 PRO B-6 is temporary u'll need to run Fast Recovery if your psp shuts down.
