WTF kind of stupid answer is that, idiot.

xPSPx, you can copy a gameboot to dh\271\flash0\vsh\resource, or to any other firmware you want to run via devhook. Any gameboot you download from this site should be tested and safe to use, whether you want to flash it to 1.5 or use it on emulated firmware.
Safe custom gameboots are 2.5 seconds or less, and up to 1MB filesize.

You can not brick your PSP by running a bad gameboot or any other customisation on devhook. The PSP will just hang and then shut down. Everything will return to normal when you reboot to your original 1.5.

If you have concerns about bricking caused by theme customisations, consider installing HarleyGs custom firmware v2.0 - http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/642 -
It features a recovery mode which allows you to fix a semi bricked PSP. It also has dual boot, so you can boot to normal 1.5 or boot into devhook emued firmware.

You will need to start from scratch, PuffDogg. The video and audio from AVI and WAV sources need to be encoded and muxed together using the umd stream composer.

    Your welcome, xPSPx.
