    Don't worry this isnt a thread about a bricked PSP. its just that ever since i installed X-Flash onto my PSP and flashed a new bootsound that worked in devhook, when i turn on my PSP it goes directly to the XMB and i would like a new Bootsound instead. anyone might know what my problem might be?

    i just read about a similar problem somebody had with X-Flash. they posted about it in the Help section (like you should have, but whatever). this is the thread they made, but they dont seem to be getting much help. i dont use X-Flash, but if i remember correctly it has an option to restore the psp's default stuff. try it

    such an efficent use of class time. much better than going over things 15 times when you got it the first go-around :mrgreen:

    are you sure you dont have cfw?? go to ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM then check and see if you have a config.txt, if you do then change true to false in "# Set to true to skip the Sony intro and stop auto exec of umd.
    skiplogo = true;"

    to answer your question, formatting ur memory stick does not erase anything youve flashed.

    you would loose all the files flashed, but you wouldn't need them because there already flashed.
