    Hi,

I'm trying to restore my custom gameboot to the original gameboot. However, replacing the custom gameboot.pmf with the original gameboot.pmf in flash0:\vsh\resource does not work. It still plays the custom gameboot. I searched around the forums and I saw many old posts about it back in 2005-2006 but I wasn't too sure it would apply to the future firmwares.

I currently run a 3.71 M33-4 on a fat PSP. The custom gameboot is 194kb and the original gameboot is 196kb.

    Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I'm sure. I have my entire flash0 backed up in 1 folder on my computer and the custom gameboot in an entirely different folder. Not only that, the date they were modified is different too.

Does deleting it then adding the gameboot work differently from replacing it instead?

I probably should tell you this but I put in a 500kb custom gameboot before and after noticing no change in gameboots, I decided to replace it back to the original.

UPDATE: After removing the gameboot.pmf entirely, the custom gameboot still plays. Is this suppose to happen?

UPDATE2: I put in the original gameboot.pmf in again and it still plays the custom gameboot.
