    Default Custom Gameboots on PSP 2001 T-088v3,yes is posible!

    FYI: I'm posting this just to inform that on the New psp 2001 running on T-088v3 Motherboard is possible to install gameboots...

    The reason of this post is that I was searching for info of this and a lot of PSP "GURUS" has been telling me that is not possible on T-088v3 because if I touch the flash the psp will brick...

    Well let me tell you something... I thought that is was bad information and I decided to see it for myself, so I took the risk on my PSP 2001.

    I went to the Flash and installed the custom gameboot, and Guess What??

    It worked Perfect! No Brick at all.. So for you T-088v3 users out there it possible to have custom gameboots!!

    just because you can, doesn't mean you should,

    if you mess up in ANY way, you KILL the PSP, and CANT FIX IT

    Messing with the Flash0 of a PSP that CANT use Pandora,
    it just NOT a good think to do

    just use the CXMB plugin
    or
    try, MY random gameboot plugin

    PSP 1.5 got on USA first day is was 1.5 NOW 4.01 M33-2 -> 5.00 M33-6(1.50 addon),
    Old PS3s: PS3 60GB FW:3.41(2nd ps3 YLoD, 1st, YLoD)
    New PS3:
    Slim 160gb 01-21-2011 Working
    was 3.40 OFW->3.60 OFW

    2nd PSP : PHAT 5.50 GEN-D2
    3rd PSP : Sliver 3000 Starting OFW:4.20 (NEW bought NEW on 11/28/2010)
    It a good idea to have "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)

    This is old news.

    You should have no problems flashing a gameboot.pmf on a PSP 2000 TA-088v3 or PSP 3000 TA-090.

    As Ryu mentioned, it's still not the greatest idea.

    Since you do have the ability to flash files in the HEN environment, if you do something wrong and end up with a brick, your PSP is a paperweight.
