Default Can you play on 2 wii u controller?

    I don't really have a Wii U yet,
but I just wanna ask before getting one.

They did mention that you can switch playing say 'The New Super Mario Wii U'
from TV to the Wii U controller.

My question is, what happens if you have 2 players?
So lets say that I have 3 people in my house now; A, B and C.

A and B is playing 'The New Super Mario Wii U' on the TV with the wiimote right?
Now C wanted to use the TV. Assuming we have 2 Wii U controllers, can A and B
continue playing 'The New Super Mario Wii U' on 2 Wii U controllers?

Also, does this function only applies to certain games or on ALL games?

PS: Sorry if I posted in the wrong section.
I don't see any other section where I can post this question >_<.

Switch gameplay to the GamePad only in single-player mode, and free up your TV screen

you might be able to have more then one gamepad in the future if its not already possible. but i cant confirm nor deny it because i do not have a wii u

    Yeah .
Anyone out there with a wii u that can confirm this?
or perhaps those who work in a gamestore can test this out
    on the demo unit?

Unless it's more like, free up your TV screen on the gamepad
and then the 2nd player still can play, but with a wii-mote instead
and uses the 1st player's gamepad as a tv screen >_<.

you can only use the screen as the "tv" when your playing by yourself not in group
