Microsoft has confirmed upcoming motion controller Kinect uses "less than one per cent" of the Xbox 360's CPU.

Rumours circulated that Kinect could use as much as one full CPU to run however Ubisoft's "Kinect expert" put the rumblings to rest.

Ubi's Frederic Blais discredited the rumour while speaking to Xbox World 360 Magazine via CVG stating, "That's not true at all. I don't really know how much I can talk about it but it's less than 1% [of the CPU's power], or something like that."

Who said that? Sony? I never heard that, and would never believe it; unless they needed that 10GB of HDD space.

That's a total crock of shit... It would not make any difference, because while in the Game O/S nothing LINUX is interfering with it, liars. Unless they claim you NEED that 10GB of space for the shit it needs, which would be piss-poor development if you ask me, if we did.

    They're so silly...

Maybe it was a rumor. I remember Sony supposedly saying they had to remove something in order to give Move its on SPE. Maybe I mixed something else with the removal of Other OS. I know they're lying. I don't care. I got rid of my PS3. I've had enough Sony. I'll stick to xbox for this generation and if I get the next generation. I bought the original PS3 shortly after launch for $600 MSRP so more than that after tax and such, and they still screwed me over. I'll stand up for myself.
