So you bought a new Xbox 360 S console bundled with Kinect last week and, like many others, found your new camera doodad doesn't come with its own power supply [for use with the Original/'Fat' Xbox360 models] -- clearly, Microsoft thought you intended to use your Kinect with this console and this console alone. You were up the proverbial creek, sans paddle ... until now.

You have to buy something that should be supplied? That's dumb. Won't be more than a couple weeks and there'll be cheap Chinese knock-offs for $5

With the SLIM bundle for Kinect, the USB port above the LAN port in back has the power requirements.

IF you READ the article, it's for the Kinect bundle buyers that want use it on PRE Slim. Kinect stand-alone kits all get supplies, thus the 149.99 price tag on that. -vs- the 299.99 4GB Slim bundle with Kinect.

When you buy the Kinect bundle, you save roughly fifty bucks, but do not get the supply like the 149.99 kinect only kits get.
